How does the fan zoo auction work?
Thefanzoo.com/auction works like a traditional auction. Bids are FREE! The Fan Zoo Auction is a traditional auction. Place your bid electronically for each piece of select memorabilia. Like a traditional auction, The Fan Zoo Auctioneer will “announce” the highest current bid and highest bidder by display at the auction status page. In the situation that you have placed a bid on a select item and another bidder places a higher bid, you will be notified by email informing that you have been outbid. You are welcome to place bids until the end of the auction. The highest bid that exceeds the reserve price at the end of the auction is the winner.
Alternatively, The Fan Zoo Auction hosts select limited edition ‘Buy Now’ items. These items are available for immediate purchase at list price, no bidding necessary.
What is Buy Now?
Don’t want to wait until the end of the auction? Want price guarantee? ‘Buy Now’ is the simplest way to buy an item at The Fan Zoo Auction. When you select a limited edition ‘Buy Now’ item, you can purchase the item right away at a set price without waiting for the auction to end.
What is the Reserve price?
The reserve price is the minimum bid price that the auction item must exceed to be considered a sale. The reserve price is at the discretion of The Fan Zoo Auctioneer. You have the ability to check the status of an auction item’s reserve price at the item link that is sent to your email, after you bid.
When does the fan zoo auction take place?
Currently, all auctions will take place on Vancouver Canucks home game nights. The auction begins 3 hours before the puck drops and ends 2.5 hours after the puck drops.

Sorry folks, to ensure that you know when your last opportunity to bid, our end time is set at 2.5 hours after puck drop.

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO SHIP AN ITEM?
We will ship your item within 2-4 business days upon receipt of payment. Upon shipping your product, The Fan Zoo Auction will send you information about the status of your shipment. Depending on your location, regular shipping may take 1-4 weeks.
Free shipping?
Absolutely! The Fan Zoo Auction provides free shipping within Canada through Canada Post, regular ground. For shipments outside of Canada, shipping charges will apply. Please contact contact@thefanzoo.com for options. Additional customs and duties are the responsibility of the purchaser.
I'm at the game and I won. I want to take the item home now.
Congratulations. You are welcome to visit our kiosk conveniently located at Section 113 (across from the Team Store) to pick up your item. You have 30 minutes from the end of the auction to collect the item you won. After that time, your item will be shipped to you free of charge. DO YOU ACCEPT RETURNS AND EXCHANGES?
Once the auction closes and an item has been won, the highest bidder has purchased the item and is deemed as a final sale. The Fan Zoo Auction does not provide refunds or exchanges. We assure our product to be free of manufacturing flaws. If product has any imperfection in the workmanship, we will replace it free of charge or accept it back and offer 100% money back upon verification of manufacturer’s defect. What is your safe shopping guarantee?
- All prices listed are in Canadian Dollars (CAD).
- Non-Canadian comparison pricing can be displayed by converting through a Google Calculator API, however all final charges will be made in Canadian Dollars.
